Revlon Lash Potion Volume + Length Mascara by Grow Luscious - Revlon Selects Program

As a part of the Revlon Selects program, I was given the Revlon Lash Potion Volume + Length Mascara by Grow Luscious to review. According to Revlon, this new mascara contains strengthening proteins which leave your lashes long and voluminous all while being clump free with its triple groove wand.

 

After my first time trying this product, I definitely agreed with the volumizing aspects of this mascara. My lashes were tripled in thickness after applying two quick coats. As for the lengthening promises, I found my lashes to be almost two times longer after applying the mascara, which is quite impressive.

One of my favorite things about this mascara was how black the “potion” left my lashes. Some mascara’s “Blackest Black” formulas still seem to be dull and don’t quite give the shocking look I am striving for. However, Lash Potion left my lashes dramatically black, making my eyes really stand out and be the focus of my face. I definitely give this mascara a thumbs up for the color of the formula.

As for the triple groove wand, I did like the size of the applicator, but the bristles didn’t exactly live up to its clump free promises. While not being the clumpiest mascara I’ve ever tried, my lashes were left a little clumped together, which I think adds to the volume of the lashes, but it is not exactly my look of choice. This is simply a personal preference though, I know some people enjoy this type of bristle and the clumpier look that it gives. Personally, I prefer a rubber bristle that really separates my lashes.

 

 

After over 12 hours of having this mascara on, there was ZERO flaking! This is a huge deal for me, because after a full work day most mascaras flake off and I am left with little black specks all over my face! Also, I find this mascara held its curl throughout the day as well!

All in all, I was really impressed by this new Revlon mascara. I really enjoyed the volume and length it gave to my lashes as well as the color. Despite the small amount of clumps it left on my lashes, the Revlon Lash Potion Volume + Length Mascara by Grow Luscious is definitely one of the best mascaras I’ve tried in a while and it will be a new staple in my make-up collection!
